He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Clealis Harris Prestridge. They have two children, Rebecca Cook and her husband, Dennis, of Huntsville, and Roger Prestridge and his wife, Judith, of Alabaster; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ethel Lanthrip of Montgomery.
