She was the daughter of the late Robin Byrge and the late Elizabeth Phillips Byrge.
She united in marriage with Walter Duncan December 23, 1910 and 12 Children were born to this union, 2 Sons and three Daughters preceded her in death.
She is survived by her Husband, Walter Duncan of Winfield; four Daughters, Mrs. Mary Cross, Mrs. Irene Adkins and Mrs. Ruby Braden, all of Winfield, Mrs. Golda Adkins of Cincinnati, Claude Duncan of Cincinnati, Robert Duncan of Oneida, Paul Duncan of Wilmington, Illinois; three Brothers, Nathaniel Byrge of Huntsville, Murley Byrge of Stone, Ky., Lindsey Byrge of Detroit, Mich.; one Sister, Mrs. Ellen Reed of Aflax, KY. She also leaves 27 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
She professed faith in Christ early in life and united with the New Prospect Baptist Church and later moved her membership to the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where she remained a member until the time of her death.
She was a devoted wife and mother and was loved and admired by all who knew her.
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of saints.
