Betty Ann Scott, Spencer, died Friday night at Cedar Crest Senior Citizens Home, Calvert City, Ky., following an extended illness. She was 78 years old. A housewife and Van Buren County native, she was a member of the Church of Christ. She was the wife of Arcie Scott, who survives. Her parents were the late W.C. and Martha
Ann Roberts Hennessee.
Services were yesterday at Spencer Church of Christ with Bobby Wilhite and Andy McElroy officiating. Burial was at Spencer Town Cemetery.
Survivors in addition to her husband, are a son Everett Scott, Tomah, Wis., four daughters, Mrs.Willene Kell and Mrs. Carolyn Boyd, both of Spencer, Mrs. Mable Monger, Paducah, Ky., and Mrs. Opal Hendrixson, Detroit; a brother, A.C. Hennessee, Bone Cave, Tn.; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. High's Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
