Nigle was a 1956 graduate of Mechanicsburg High school, where he was president of his class and played on the football team.

Upon Graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He served in Okinawa and later in Lincoln, Neb. He was honorably discharged in 1960 and he and his wife returned to Ohio to raise their family.

Nigle was known by many for his voice and his love for the sport of football. As a teenager he sang at the church, where his father was the minister. He sang at churches for the rest of his life, as a soloist, In duets with his wife, and as a congregational song leader.

Soon after high school he began calling square dances with various bands. His voice became best known in his work as a professional auctioneer. Nagle's career as auctioneer spanned several decades, as he performed auctions for county fairs, estate sales, farm sales, business sales and charity auctions in numerous counties in Ohio. He enjoyed selling antiques and collectibles, but he also enjoyed the friendship he made over the years socializing with buyers at his auctions.

In his spare time he loved watching high school and college football, especially when he could attend in person. He traveled near and far to watch his children and grandchildren play many different sports.
Nigle was an active member of Grace Chaplel Christian Union Church in Santa Fe. He loved Jesus Christ.
