Andrew-John H Andrew, 78, Seward, died at 2 p.m. Saturday Oct.24, 1964, in a Moline Hospital after a long illness. Born Dec. 19, 1885, in Campbeltown, Scotland, son of Mr. and Mrs Matthew Andrew. He Married the former Janet Smith in Seward Feb. 26, 1933. She died Sept 1946. Employed in the Glasgow shipyards in Scotland, then homesteaded in Canada. His Home for the last 30 years has been Seward area. He was a retired farmer. He was post memeber of the Winnebago County Farm Bureau. He lived the last six years of his life in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Smith, Seward.
There are no Immediate survivors.
Services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 27 in the Chaplin County Funeral Home 929 Washington Street. Pecatonica with the Rev. Marlyn W, Close Pastor of Seward Congressional Church, Officiating Burial in Twelve Mile Grove cemetery. No visitation.
