On Saturday, April 12th, Mr. Fred Adderhold, wife and little girl, were trading in Valley Falls. They went home and all took the flu, wife and child recovered. Mr. A. went violently insane was taken to Topeka on last Saturday where he died on Sunday morning. His funeral was held at the Dunkard church in Ozawkie, Monday afternoon of this week. He was laid to rest by the side of his father, mother and brother in the Ozawkie cemetery. He leaves to mourn his departure a kind wife, a little girl about five years old and one brother, Dr. Tom Adderhold of Oklahoma. Fred was about 32 years old, was born, we believe in Topeka but raised from a small boy on his father's farm here. After the father's death some years ago the farm was divided between the two boys. Dr. Tom later sold his portion to Will Grist. Fred still owned his and resided on it.
