Mrs. Mary Delilah Baldwin, 54, of Sophia, died in a local hospital at 7:30 a.m. yesterday following a four-day illness. She is survived by her husband, Robert Baldwin, of Sophia; three brothers, David, William, and Aidman* Mings, of Dare County, Ky. The body will be removed from the Williams Funeral Home, Sophia, to the residence at 5 p.m. today. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday from the residence with the Rev. Cleve Young officiating. Interment will follow in the Hot Coal Cemetery, at Sophia. Active pallbearers will include Walter Butterworth, Ott Barr, Claude Richards, Buford Mann, John Edwards, Jr. and Junior Edwards.
