ELDRIDGE P. CROW DIES AT HOME OF SON IN BROWNWOOD
BROWNWOOD- Eldridge P. Crow of Colorado City, 84, retired ginner, died at 12.05 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 1946 at the home of a son, L. E. Crow, 1015 Sixth Street.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. at the Baptist Church at Abernathy with the Rev. Nix officiating. Burial will be in the Abernathy Cemetery.
The body will be at the L. E. Crow home until early Friday morning. London & Burton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Crow had been a member of the Abernathy Baptist Church for 32 years.
He was born August 31, 1861, at Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Surviving are six children, L. E. Crow of Brownwood, Mrs. T. E. Arnold of Colorado City, W. H. Crow and E. I. Crow of San Antonio, O.N. Crow of Coleman and W. B. Crow of Monahans. A brother, A. B. Crow of Denison, a sister, Mrs. Annie Daniels of Denison, and 28 grandchildren, 42 greatgrandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren also survive.
