Mrs. Irene J. Kirk, 66, of 1704 Bryan Ave., died Sunday morning at the Hershey Convalescent home. Funeral services for Mrs. Kirk will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Bluegrass cemetery. Visitation began at noon today.
The former Irene Baker was born Oct. 24, 1907, in Rolla, Mo., the daughter of Howard and Jennie Daniel Baker. She married Earl L. Kirk June 25, 1925, in Muscatine. She was a member of the Lincoln Blvd. Baptist church.
Surviving are two sons, William and Keith, both of Muscatine, one brother, Clarence Baker of Davenport; two sisters, Mrs. Erwin A. (Hazel) Allbee, Ft. Collins, Colo., and Mrs. Herbert F. (Viola) Walter of Muscatine; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one son.
