Suffering a heart attack while
working on a garage at the rear
of the Fred Alexander home, 8
West Miami Avenue, John Edward
Bair, 69, of 1711 Michigan Ave.
died at 9:30 o'clock Thursday
morning.
Mr. Bair had been working on
the side of the garage during
the morning. His body laying
on the ground was found by Mrs. Al-
ander when she glanced out of
the rear door of the home. She
summoned police and when it
was found Mr. Bair had died
Coroner M. B. Stewart was cal-
ed. The body was taken to the
Chase and Miller -mortuary . and
later removed to the home.
Mrs. Clara Bair. widow, said
her husband had been in failing
health for several years. Sur-
vivors are the wife, three sons,
David, John and Clark, of this
city; a brother, Albert, of this
city; three sisters. Mrs. Eliza-
beth Burkett, 1715 Buchanan
street; Mrs. Catherine Grant.
Wheatland avenue, and Mrs.
Claude Oram, city,
Funeral services will be held
at 2 p.m. Saturday from Broad-
way U. B. church with Rev. R. K.
Vance in charge. Interment will
be In Mt. Hope cemetery.
