PRICE- The best nurse in the world, Betty Virginia Pessetto Crissman, age 78, passed away peacefully at her home on August 18, 2002. She was born March 16, 1924 in Castle Gate, Utah to Walter and Josephine Cormani Pessetto. Married Bill Crissman, July 20, 1947 in Helper, Utah. She graduated from St. Mary's in 1946 with a bachelor's degree in nursing. Betty was a lifelong member of the Utah State Nurses Association. She worked for Dr. John K. Wright from 1955 until his death in 1982. Betty helped many people selflessly and loved the work that she did. Survived by her husband of 55 years, Bill Crissman; two daughters and three sons, Jack and Carol Bonaquisto, Bill and LeiLani Crissman, Richard Crissman, John Crissman, Gina and Jeremy Evans; nine wonderful grandchildren, and one brother, Max Pessetto. Funeral Mass, Thursday, August 22, 2002, 10:00 a.m., Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Vigil service Wednesday evening 7:00 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home in Price. Family will be at Mitchell's Wednesday and Thursday one hour prior to services. Committal service will be at Mt. View Cemetery, Helper. Betty, The Nurse, was loved by many and will be missed by all. Her family always came first and they will always be her pride and joy.
