"Edward F. Arnold, 67, 6322 Belding St., died Monday morning after an illness of several months. He was pronounced dead on arrival at a local hospital.

Mr. Arnold, a native of Holt county, Mo., had been a resident of the St. Joseph area most of his life. For several years he was owner and manager of the Thirs-T Drive-In.

Survivors include his wife, Alma Arnold of the home; two brothers, Walter Arnold of Jacksonville, Fla., and Cecil Arnold, El Paso, Texas; and three sisters, Frances Pollard and Georgia Martin, both of St. Joseph, and Corienne Hinton of Salida, Colo.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Clark Chapel. The Rev. Charles Bayer will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery."
