Anna Pearl Schmittou, 78, of Petrolia, Texas, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014.
Funeral services will be at 10:00am, Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Henrietta, Texas with Brandon Dunn pastor of the Western Heritage Christian Church in Dean, Texas officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta, Texas.
Graveside will be at 11:00 am, Friday, March 21, 2014, in the Woodman Cemetery in DeKalb, Texas. The graveside service is under the direction of Bates Funeral Home in DeKalb, Texas.
Ms. Schmittou was born on December 4, 1935 in Artesia, New Mexico to Roy and Edith (Goodin) Tice. She was a member of the Western Heritage Christian Church in Dean, Texas.
She retired from the Respiratory Department at United Regional Healthcare System.
Ms. Schmittou was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cecil Schmittou; brother, Johnny Tice; three sons, Roy Tice, Jerry Hitchcock and Rickie Franklin.
Survivors include her daughters, Sherrie Evans and husband Galan of Dean, Texas and Kristie Williams and husband Donny of Dean, Texas; two brothers, Leon Tice of Petrolia, Texas and Charles Tice of DeKalb, Texas; one sister, Louise Garner of DeKalb, Texas; 10 grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and her dog Sienna.
The family will be at Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6:00PM-8:00PM.
