Martha is survived by six children: Jewell Purcell and her husband, Homer, of Hominy; Harold M. Davis and his wife, Rhonda, of Burlington, KS; Robert Davis III and his wife, Brenda, of Hominy; Fi Davis and wife, Karen Carter of Hominy; William Davis of Hominy; and Delores Davis of Bartlesville, OK. Martha is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, numerous relatives, and many, many friends.
She was preceded in death: by her parents and her husband; two sons, Ronald E. Davis and Kirk Davis; one grandson, Marques; her sister, Genevieve Satepauhoodle; and her brother, Otis Oberly.
Indian services were Saturday, March 8, 2014, 8:00 A.M. at the Osage Indian Chapel in Hominy with Eddie Red Eagle, Jr. officiating. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church of Hominy, Saturday, March 8, 2014, 10:00 A.M. with the Pastor Mark Formby officiating. Music selections were: "I Have Decided to Follow" and "How Great Thou Art", performed by: Jonie Bost, Cindy Dunlap and Maria Powell, accompanied on the piano by Theresa Cowan. Pall Bearers were Silas Satepauhoodle, Charles Wheeler, Michael Davis, Mark Davis, Jared Davis and Stetson Davis.
Interment was in the A.J. Powell Cemetery, Hominy, Oklahoma under the direction of Powell Funeral Home.
