Professor Benjamin F. Woods died on Feb. 4th 1891 at Prineville, Crook Co., Oregon in his 58th year. He was born in Clay Co., MO on Mar 15, 1833. He was the son of Thomas Woods who died in Clay Co., in 1863 and Elizabeth Woods, who still lives in Clay Co. He was married in Clay Co. to Miss Sidney R. Buster in 1858. Lived in Clay until about 1873 when he moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa, where his family now resides. During his stay in Council Bluffs, he was a teacher of high standing. A short time since, he went to Oregon where he died at the place above named. Died suddenly of heart disease. He was buried at Prineville, but in the spring will be removed to Council Bluffs. Leaves a wife and 5 daus. all of whom are highly respected in Council Bluffs, where they live.
