AURORA — Viola Hanlin, 81, of Aurora, formerly of Fairbury, died Friday, March 14, 2014, at Hamilton Manor in Aurora.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church in Fairbury. The Rev. Charles Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Hanlin was born Dec. 3, 1932, at Beatrice to Herman and Wilhemina Borchard Scherling.
Survivors of the immediate family include a daughter, Theresa Miller, and Darin Tompkins of Hordville; a son, Rodney Miller, and wife, Lisa, of Fairbury; and two granddaughters.
