Mrs. Dorthy Elizabeth Adams, 91, of Webbers Falls died Friday, March 14, 2014 at Eastar Hospital in Muskogee. She was born on October 28, 1922 in Golden to Ollen Seldon Pitts and Filena (Birlew) Pitts. She grew up in McCurtain County before moving to California as a young girl. She then married Dutch Adams and they made their home together in California before his passing at a very young age. She then moved back to Oklahoma in the late 1970's. She will always be remembered as loving her grandchildren and loving to embroidery. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ollen and Filena Pitts; her husband, Dutch Adams; two brothers, Gene Pitts, Dudley Pitts; one sister, Lois Brown. Graveside Services will be held 2:00 P.M., March 18, 2014 at Pope Chapel Cemetery with Reverend Andy Webb officiating. Burial will immediately follow under the direction of King and Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
