Mr. Jaster was born the son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Jaster on May 10, 1889 in Kurten, Texas. He was baptized into the Christian faith as a small boy in Bryan, Texas. Confirmed by the Pastor H.S. Schulz on April 5, 1903 in Burton. He married Emma Wolff on November 11,1909. She died July 25, 1942. He then married Anna Brauner Renz November 10, 1945. She died on November 26, 1972. Mr. Jaster died on December 20, 1976 in Bohne Hospital in Brenham. He had attained the age of 87 years, 7 months, and 20 days.
He leaves to mourn his passing: two sons - Paul Jaster of Round Top and Harry Jaster of Austin. Two daughters - Mrs. Walter (Norma) Roemer of Austin and Mrs. Wilburn (Mamie) Fritsch of Fayetteville. There are 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Pall Bearers are his Grandsons.
