Frederick W. Beecroft Sr. of 615 East McLemore, who recently retired as clerk of Juvenile Court after 17 years, died at 7:15 a.m. yesterday at Methodist Hospital. He was 73. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at National Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Hill. "Mr. B," as many called him, was born in Nevada, Mo., and had lived in Memphis more than 50 years. Before joining Juvenile Court, he worked with the American Fork and Hoe Co. in Memphis for 14 years and for a time was a Federal employee. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mr. Beecroft, who had been in ill health for two years, had been on sick leave for several weeks before his retirement in August. He leaves his wife; four sons, Taylor Beecroft of 1359 Goodbar, James Beecroft also of Memphis, Hugh Beecroft and F.W. Beecroft Jr., of Atlanta; two brothers, Hugh Beecroft of Seattle, Wash., and Robert O. Beecroft of Dayton, Ohio, and four grandchildren.
