Cloyd, Norma
Norma T. Cloyd, 83 of Paducah died Sunday, July 21, 2013 at 2:40 p.m. at Gaither Suites. Norma was a native of Mayfield, KY and the daughter of the late Lawrence O. & Beulah Ivey Troutt. Norma was a retired English teacher having taught at Reidland High School and Lone Oak High School. She was a member of Paducah/McCracken County Retired Teachers Association. Norma was a Master Bridge player, and enjoyed traveling and camping and spent many winters in FL. She supported the animal shelter " Creatures Great and Small" and took interest in the Arrow Fund that provided medical assistance to abused dogs. Norma enjoyed showing Tennessee Walking Horses for many years.
Survivors include one daughter, Oteka Brab and husband W. William Brab of Prospect, KY; one son, Mark Chenault of Tampa, FL; two grandchilkdren, William L. Brab and wife Alicia and Ingrid L. Brab; two great-grandchildren, Terry Blakey Jr and Emma E. Blakey.
Preceding in death besides parents were her husband, Millard H. Cloyd and one brother, Wilford Troutt.
