Lloyd Warren Boozer, 77, died at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming. He was the son of Harry and Rehan (Lyndes) Boozer. He was reared and educated in Hamilton and graduated from Hamilton High School. He joined the U.S. Navy and served during the Korean Conflict. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Montana in 1958, then his master's degree from the University of Montana in 1986. He married Mae Belle Trimble on June 3, 1952 in Clarksdale, Mississippi. They moved to Montana in 1953 and following his graduation, resided in California, Montana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Wyoming. They moved to Glenrock in 1988. He taught physical education and social studies from 1958-87. In 1988, he became the assistant principal and activities director at Glenrock High School. He was named the Glenrock Intermediate Middle School principal in 1989 and retired from education at the end of the school year in 1991. He is survived by son Toby Boozer of Glenrock; daughter Lisa Barr and husband Reed of Glenrock; daughter-in-law Claudia Boozer of Virginia Beach, Va.; and grandchildren Brian Boozer of Virginia Beach, Aaron and Christopher Boozer of Saint Louis, Mo., Jillian Dike and husband Danny of Casper, and Jacob and Joel Barr of Glenrock. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Mae on March 4, 2003; sister Evelyn; and son Michael in March 2009.
