BRIDGEPORT - Mrs. Sarah Frances Barger, 87, of Bridgeport, Harrison County, formerly of South Charleston, died Monday in Fairmont General Hospital. She was a member of Mount Lewis Baptist Church at Mammoth. She was a native of Mammoth. Surviving: sons, Herman of South Charleston, Ernest of Spring Hill, Marvin of Williamsburg, Virginia; daughters, Mrs. Lavonna Shamblen of Mammoth, Mrs. Clara Montague of Bridgeport, Mrs. Gladys Thornton of Costa, Mrs. Leona McMillan of Miami, Florida, and Mrs. Marguerite Bush of Xenia, Ohio; sister Mrs. Grace Slack of Belle; 34 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Cook Funeral Home, Cedar Grove with the Rev. U. G. Wolfe officiating. Burial will be in Ward Cemetery.
