Mr. William Ross "Bill" Mangin, 43 years old, of Route 1, Brandenburg, Kentucky died Monday , November 29, 1982 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

He was born March 4, 1939, in Meade County, Kentucky, the son of Arnold Clark Mangin and Dortha Warren Mangin Brown.

Bill had worked for Olin Chemical a number of years before going with ICI Americas Chemical, Pasadena, Texas, as a Chemical Operator for the last year and a half.

Bill was a member of Harrison Masonic Lodge, No. 122 F. & A.M. Masonic services were held from the Chapel of Jenkins Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Benedict Mangin; his mother, Dortha Warren Mangin Brown of Brandenburg; three children, Mrs. Dan (Lisa Kathleen) McCubbin, Mr. Lindsay Ross Mangin, and Mr. Cary Edward Mangin all of Brandenburg; one step-daughter, Miss Sonya Jo Hogan of Glasgow, Kentucky; two sisters, Mrs. Lamar (Kathryn) Brown and Mrs. Samuel (Ethel) Burrell both of Battletown, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Kristin Nichole McCubbin and one step-granddaughter, Jamie Lynn McCubbin.

Funeral services were held from the Chapel of Jenkins Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Benningfield officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery, Battletown, Kentucky (Big Bend).
