Services for Ralph L. Bloom, 56, of 124 S. 2nd St., Long Grove, will be 10 a.m. Monday at McGinnis Funeral Home, Daenport. Burial will be in Blue Grass Cemetery.
Visitation is 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Bloom died Thursday at his home.
He was employed at the Rock Island Arsenal.
Mr. Bloom was born in Montpelier, Iowa. He married Virginia Duffy in 1947 in Unionville, Mo.
Survivors include the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Larry Aegerter, Rock Island, and Mrs. Donald McCoy, Davenport; a son, Gene, Davenport; six grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Mamie Bloom, Davenport, and a brother, Harold J., rural Blue Grass.

Mrs. Anna Waller of Davenport, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Johnson of Trenton, Mo., became the bride of Ralph Bloom, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Bloom of Montpelier, Ia., at a double ring ceremony Tuesday at 5 p.m. in St. Mark's Lutheran church. The Rev. Mark Getzendaner officiated. The attendants were Mrs. Doris Rohm of Davenport and Harold Bloom, brother of the bridegroom.

Mrs. May died Wednesday, March 4, 1992, at Mercy Hospital, Davenport.
The former Anna F. Johnson was born July 30, 1918, in Trenton, Mo., the daughter of William H. and Grace Agee Johnson. She married Lloyd May in 1964, in Rock Island.
She was employed by Davenport Club, Davenport Holiday Inn and Nichols-Homeshield Inc., Davenport.
Survivors include daughters, Phyllis Littleton, East Moline, Stevelyn Carnithan, Davenport, and Beverly Jinkins, Albion, Iowa; a son, Thomas May, Davenport; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
