Henry Norbert Bergman was born April 3, 1918 in East Peoria to Henry and Kate Forter Bergman. He married Ann Curry October 26, 1940; she preceded him in death February 1992. He was also preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his daughters, Sharon Doan and Vickie (Fred) Masters; son, Gary (Karen) Bergman; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

Henry proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked as an operating engineer for Local 649. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW Post #1232 in Pekin, AMVETS Post #235 in Pekin and Moose Lodge in Pekin. He retired to Florida with his wife, he loved golfing, building birdhouses and gardening. He was always working on small engine repair.
