ALBERT LAIRD BRANDENBURG, 95, of Friendswood, Texas, passed away March 11,2014 at 9 a.m. at his home.

Larry was born in Dayton, Ohio, August 12th, 1918 to Edith and Walter Brandenburg. He lived most of early life there, graduated from college in electrical engineering, and pursued a full career in the communication field, serving around the world in a lot of the United States, along with Puerto Rico , and Guantanamo, Cuba, ending up and retiring in Houston, Texas.

Larry served a full term in WWII in the 8th Air Force, 493rd Bombardment Group, 863rd Squadron at Debach, England in 1944, with Helton's Hellcats.

Larry was married to Cyrilla Bishop in 1985, but she passed away in 2004.
Larry was a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and a great friend to all who knew him, and will be sorely missed.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Thursday, March 13th, and the service celebrating Larry's life will be at 9:30am Friday, March 14th, all held at Niday Funeral Home – Beamer Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
