Ronald Dwain Brelsford, 71, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012. Ron was born in Pennsboro, West Virginia, on January 9, 1941. He was preceded in death by his parents, Neil Brelsford and Pauline Pierpoint Brelsford.
Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Jeanne Kaye Brelsford; children, Bradley Brelsford and wife, Karen, of College Station, and Melanie Brelsford of Houston; sisters, Angela Rowe and husband, Stephen, of Jacksonville, Florida, and Beverly McCarthy of Lexington, Kentucky; a special aunt, Jean Pierpoint of Pennsboro, West Virginia; and several grand children, nieces and nephews.
Ron served in the U.S. Army in Korea.
A Memorial Service is being held to celebrate Ron's life at Waltrip Funeral Directors on Thursday, November 1, at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ron's honor to the Star of Hope Mission in Houston, Texas.
