Born of Danish immigrants, after they settled in Spring City, Utah. Was a part-time school teacher until he married Louie E. Allred and took up the vocation of sheepherder. Moved to Provo when oldest daughter needed schooling beyond the 6th grade. Worked in the dairy processing plants until called to served a mission in adult years in Gulf States Mission. Worked last few years before retirement at Brigham Young University. Neve and his wife had five children, Mary Alice, Kent Neve, Renae, Don Marinus and Warren David.
