He was a member of Christ Reformed Church. He started as a pharmacist in 1927 at Schindel's Drug Store. For the past 25 years, he was a partner in the business there. He was a member of the National Association of Retail Druggists, the Maryland Board of Pharmacy for 15 years, American Pharmaceutical Association, and a life member of the Maryland Pharmaceutical Association.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Weller Harbaugh of 872 Mulberry Ave; sister, Mrs. Elva Barnhill, Hagerstown.
Funeral services were held at the Minnich Funeral Home; burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
