She is survived by one son, Bob (Marilyn) Wooldridge ,three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one sister, Marge O'Brien.
Georgia started her nursing career in 1962 as an aide at St. Joseph Hospital in Bloomington. She then went on to receive her LPN license. In 1965, Georgia went to work for Rex Jackson where she, along with Frank Workman, set up Jackson Heights Nursing Home for operation. She worked there for 18 years until her retirement in 1982.
