Carl Stanley Bodley, age 71, passed away at his home on December 4, 2005 in Littleton, Colorado, after suffering liver cancer. He was born August 11, 1934 in La Jara,Colorado, to Charles and Grace (Holman) Bodley. Carl married Janice Dee Miller Bodley on November 20, 1952 in Taos, New Mexico. To this union was born Cathy(Bob) Derry of Golden; Linda Steele-Tate deceased (1956-2004); Gina Gale Bodley (stillborn baby 1963); and Brian (Valerie) Bodley of Arvada. He has eight grandchildren: Ramie, Corrie,Hannah, Chelsea, Heath, Tally, Tommy, and Rachel. He has one sister: Janice Rasmussen of La Jara, Colorado.
Carl was precede in death by his parents, Charles and Grace(Holman) Bodley; and two daughters.
Memorial service will be at noon Friday, December 9, at Crown Hill Chapel with placement or urn to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Wheatridge, Colorado.
Note: A tombstone had once placed in the Sanford Cemetery; but later was removed, due to his request to be buried in Crown Hill Cemetery.
