PLAINVIEW, Minn. (Special) - Funeral services were conducted Saturday at Millville for Clarence H. Adler, 69, retired Rochester painter who died at his home there Thursday afternoon of a heart attack. He'd been ill two years.
He was born at Potsdam near here June 30, 1893, and on April 15, 1951, married Laura Goodman at Lake City.
He's survived by his wife; eight brothers, Hilbert, Rochester; Orville and Arleigh, Lake City; Alvin and Norman, Millville; Alphy, Detroit, Mich.; Arthur, Bottineau, N. D., and Frank, South Bend, Ind., and two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Alma) Rothgarn, Zumbro Falls, Minn., and Mrs. Hilda Spring, Elgin, Minn.
The Rev. Phillip J. Schowalter, Eyota, officiated at services at Grace Presbyterian Church. Burial was in the Millville cemetery.
Norman Adler,, Lloyd and Orville Roscrans, Larry, Norman and Willis Goodman were pallbearers.
