Mary Virginia Spiers Bell

ROY - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother Mary Virginia Spiers Bell, 75 of Roy, UT. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 5, 2014 in Ogden, UT surrounded by her four children.

Mary was born in Ogden, UT on 27 March 1938 to Darrell A. Spiers and Lucille Tracy Spiers. She was a graduate of Ogden High School. Mary married Ronald Franklin Bell on March 11, 1957, they were later divorced. She was a life-long member of the LDS church. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed spending many hours in the kitchen for her family's enjoyment, she also enjoyed many years of gardening and the most important thing was spending time with her family. She was a Correctional Officer for Weber County for many years before her retirement.

Mary is survived by her four children, Ronald H. Bell, Sandra L. Bell Barker (Donald), Mark A. Bell (Jennifer) and Steven R. Bell (Holly). Mary is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and her sister Judy L. Shepherd.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Robert Spiers and her sisters Shirley Brixey and Barbara Crandall.

Interment, Clinton City Cemetery, 750 West 800 North, Clinton, Utah.
