Mrs. Myrtle Winona White, 98, died Thursday at Woodland Nursing Home. She was born near Knightstown but spent most of her life in Muncie.
Her husband, Jesse G. White, who was superintendent of Beech Grove Cemetery, died in 1942.
Mrs. White was a member of First Baptist Church and Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 104.
Survivors include her son, Edward D. White, Indianapolis; and three nieces, Ethel Mauzy Simes, Ruth Mauzy McFadden and Rosabel Mauzy Holmes, all of Muncie.
Services will be held in Meeks Mortuary at 3:30 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Dan Mattox, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday or prior to services Saturday.
