Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Elm Ridge Mausoleum for Mrs. Verda M. White, 87, who died Monday at Woodland Nursing Home. Rev. Xen Harvey of Friends Memorial Church will officiate. Entombment will be in the mausoleum following services. There will be no calling hours at Meeks Mortuary which is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. White was born in Delaware County, the daughter of Frank and Flora (Van Buskirk) McKinley, and lived here all her life. She was an employee of McNaughton's Department Store.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Jackson, Gaston, and Mrs. Lela Newman Bovard, Muncie; one niece and five nephews.
