Lora Clark, 54, a sister of Mt. Vernon residents, died Thursday at Salem Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Salem with the Rev. Cecil Martin officiating. Friends may call at the McMackin Funeral Home in Salem after 2 p .m. today. Burial will be in the East Salem Cemetery.
Mrs. Clark was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Clark was the daughter of Tom and Lizzie (Coil) Burgess. She was married to Robert Clark who survives. Other survivors include: one daughter, Delores Shinn of Salem; two brothers, Harlin Burgess of Salem and Arvil Burgess of Mt. Vernon; three sisters Myrtle Henson of Xenia, Opal Austin and Leta Towns, both of Mt. Vernon, and three grandchildren.
