Stuart Lennon Nance 51 of Onton died at his residence, Saturday, March 8. He was born March 12, 1962 to Ted and Lana Nance.
He was a member of Onton United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir, taught Sunday School and was in charge of the church softball league.
He was currently employed at Lowes in Madisonville as a Contractor Salesman. He had been a Territorial Manager for Multifood Corp which was formerly Super Sweet Feeds and also had managed Miles Farm Supply in Slaughters. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and organizer of Stu's Crew Softball Team.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Bradley W. Nance in 1993.
He is survived by his parents, three children, Warren Nance, Faith Nance, and Grant Nance all of Sebree and one brother Shane Nance of Onton. He had several nieces and nephews along with two uncles, Bill Ford of Spottsville and Rodney Jobe of Ft. Myers, Fl.
Services will be Wed at 11:00 AM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Slaughters-Hanson Chapel. Bro. Marty Robertson will officiate. Visitation will be Tues. from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Wed. from 9:00 AM until service. Burial will be in Onton Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Greg Ford, Shon Wright, Mike Andrews, Danny Brooks, Dale Williams, Ricky Majors, Randy Buchanan and Kerry Zachary.
