Horace Albert Baggs a resident of 4243 Kantanga Dr. died May 5, 2001. He was a Graduate of William M. Raines High School where he was a member of the marching band. He was a dedicated employee of the city of Jacksonville in Parks and Recreation for over 25 years. Survivors include: mother, Hattie Baggs; five sisters, Hattie (Randy), Dorothy (Herman), Belinda (Virgil), Irene, Lavina (Michael); one brother, Sean (Pamela); seven nephews; five nieces, one grandniece; one Godson; other relatives and many friends. Funeral Service will be held SATURDAY at 11:00a.m. at Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Pernell Raggans, Pastor. The cortege will assemble at the residence at 10:15 a.m. Mr. Baggs will rest in the mortuary for visitation of friends on Friday from 5:009:00 p.m. and in the Church on Saturday from 9:30a.m. until the hour of service. Interment in Edgewood Cemetery.
