Taft Penney Ahlstrom left this life on March 21, 2009 in a tragic accident. Taft was born on January 23, 1989 to Peggy Clark Ahlstrom and Daren Ahlstrom. Taft made everyday a new adventure. He was known and loved by many. He had a special spirit and a gift for humor. He made us smile. Taft could outwit, out play, outlast just about everyone. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Taft is survived by his loving mother Peggy, of Grantsville. His father and stepmother Daren and Christina of West Jordan, sister Lydia and brother Heber of Grantsville, many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. Taft was preceded in death by Grandma Mary Lou Ahlstrom, 'Grammy' Callie Clark, Grandpa Johnnie Clark, Cousin Tara Fulmer and Aunt Jeanne Hogan. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 25, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Grantsville West Stake Center 115 East Cherry St. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 PM at Tate Mortuary 110 So Main St. St. Tooele and Wed from 11:30-12:45 prior at the church. Interment in the Grantsville City Cemetery.
