auline Bohanan Cardwell, age 82 of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2006. She was born in Gatlinburg on March 7, 1924, and moved to Centerline, Michigan in 1949, where she and her husband Harley owned a mobile home park that became very successful. After retiring, they moved to Pompano Beach, Florida, then Knoxville, Tennessee, and finally Pauline resided in Punta Gorda, Florida. No matter how far she was from home, she loved and missed her Great Smoky Mountains.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harley West Cardwell; parents George Bohanan and Arminda Huskey Bohanan Ownby; sisters Mamie Lee Ogle and Viola Burkett; brothers Arvil and Lonnie Bohanan.

Son: Charles Ray Cardwell and wife Nancy of Punta Gorda, Florida
Granddaughters: Gail Ann Cardwell of Punta Gorda, Florida, Dr. Eric and Rhonda Nash of Punta Gorda, Florida, Rebecca Cardwell of Sterling, Virginia
Great-grandchildren: Marcus Andrew Nash, Marissa Arminda Nash
Brother: Harold Ownby and wife Laura of Gatlinburg
Sisters: Ruth Maples of Knoxville
Beloved nieces: Frances Ann Ogle of Athens, Tennessee, Mary Ogle Hutsell of Gatlinburg

Funeral service 2 PM Saturday in Atchley��(TM)s Smoky Mountain Chapel with Rev. Ray Burkett officiating. Interment will follow in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens.
