NORMAN, Okla. - Helen Pearl Eley, 92, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, in Norman, Okla. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, at First Christian Church in Norman, with the Rev. David Spain officiating. Interment will be in Kerrville, Texas.
Helen was born Aug. 21, 1912, in Altus, Okla., the daughter of William and Callie Glasgow. In 1930, Helen married Guy H. Eley and they celebrated 69 years of marriage. After his death in 1999, she moved from Kerrville, Texas, to Norman, Oklahoma.
Helen was a longtime member of the First Christian Church. Her love of family and homemaking knew no limits.
Survivors include her children, Mell H.and wife, Dorthey, of Carrollton, TX, Yuma Louise and husband, Lou, of Kerrville, TX, and E.H.and wife, Beverly, of Norman, OK; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
