KEENE — Services for Orvil Dale Hollis, 70, of Keene, Texas, will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2005, at the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church in Keene. Interment will follow in the Keene Cemetery. Pastor Barry Millet will officiate, assisted by Pastor Mic Thurber and Pastor Cecil May. Serving as pallbearers will be Alex Banton, David Barron, Richard Bothe, Arnold Calvert, Matt Leonard and Aubrey Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Duane Barnes, Sam Capps, Willis Dufur, Dalton Sanford and Dan Zacharias. The family received visitors from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005, at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mr. Hollis was born on Nov. 23, 1935, in Okemah, Okla., to Orvil Thomas and Beulah Vera "Collier" Hollis. He passed away on Dec. 1, 2005, in Dallas, Texas. He married June Fowler on Sept. 3, 1954, in Oregon. Mr. Hollis was employed as a cabinet salesman.
