Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late Thomas Edgar Adams and Hallie Southards Adams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Wayne Adams who died February 20, 2014. Eddie was retired from Georgia Power Company where he worked as a right away negotiator for 35 years; and was a member of Higdonville Baptist Church.
He is survived by a brother, Tommy Adams of Franklin; step son, Michael Lee Green of Van Wert, Ohio; two step grandchildren, Abbey and Alex and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 14, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Don Perkins, Steve Allen and Mike Dickson and Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in the Higdonville Baptist Church Cemetery.
