WORTHY, MRS. IDA C.
Died at 11:15 p.m. Friday Nov. 15, 1974, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. She was 52, a native of Hammond and a resident of 6766 Perimeter Dr., Baton Rouge. She was a private duty nurse and an Army veteran of World War II. Body is at Welsh Funeral Home with visiting from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday and after 8 a.m. Monday. Religious services at Welsh chapel Monday at a time to be announced, conducted by Rev. T. W. Terral. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by he husband Horace C. Worthy, Baton Rouge; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar M. Borders, Baton Rouge; three daughters, Zelma Jane Golden, Sacramento, Calif., Miss Donna Sue Lemoine, and Miss Maria Ann Lemoine, both of Baton Rouge; a son Kirby Joseph Lemoine, Jr., Baton Rouge; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Jean Trammell and Mrs. Myrtle Lee Crowe, both of Baton Rouge; two half-sisters, Miss Dorothy Borders, San Franscisco, Calif., and Mrs. Catherine Biebrich, Baton Rouge; three half-brothers, Edgar A Borders and Delbert Borders both of Houston, Tex., and Frank Borders, Hawaii; and three grandchildren. She was a member of there Lanier Baptist Church.
