Linda Lou Allen Ruby Linda Lou Allen, 70, of Ruby, died Saturday, April 20, 2013 with her loving family by her side. She was born April 17, 1943 in Forrester Township to the late Walter and Hazel Barr. She married Harold "Bud" Allen on July 1, 1967. He died March 2, 2012. Linda retired from CVS as a Pharmacist Technician. In her younger years she enjoyed riding horses and bowling and most recently watching western movies, especially John Wayne, and NASCAR. She is survived by two sons David (Lisa) Birtles and Tom Allen; a grandson, Thomas Allen, Jr.; a sister, Peggy Albright; four brothers, Denny (Pat) Barr, Raymond (Judy) Barr, Doug (Brenda) Barr, and Jeff (Vickie) Barr; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a brother, Delbert (Erdeen) Barr and a brother in law, Walt Albright. Visiting hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in Smith Family Funeral Home-North. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013 in Smith Family Funeral Home-North, 1525 Hancock Street, Port Huron with visitation one hour prior. Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate. Private family burial will be at a later date.
