Mrs. William Rogers died at residence of her son, Wm. Perry in the Black Jack community Saturday afternoon and the remains were buried in cemetery there Sunday afternoon, the funeral services being conducted by Rev. W.S. Lackey. Deceased was 68 years old and a lifelong member of the Baptist church. She twice married, the first time to John Perry and the last time to Wm. Rogers, both of whom are dead. By the first marriage she leaves surviving a son Will Perry and a daughter, Mrs. John Newman; by the last marriage a daughter Mrs. John Dyer. A good woman has gone to her reward.
