Services for John William Hardister, 85, 1240 Summit, who died Sunday night in Lawrence Memorial Hospital, will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Rumsey Funeral Home. The Rev David Winters, the Rev Ralph Gibson, and the Rev Dorsey Gray will officiate Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Hardister was born June 13, 1891, in Macon, Mo. He was a retired construction worker.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Velva Walsh, Rt. 6, Mrs. Dorothy Ray, 1240 Summit and Mrs. Patti Allen, St. Joseph Mo. three sons, John 540 Schwartz, Lelie, Phoenix, Ariz and Orbie 2711 Ousdahlp; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call until 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home
