STONEWALL, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Guy "Desperado" Michael Cox, 61, will be held Friday March 7, 2014 at 12 noon at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Don Wilson, Rev. Clarence Chism, and Rev. Will Simmons. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2014 at the funeral home.
Guy was born on April 11, 1952 in Albuquerque, NM to Jimmie and Leona Cox and passed away on March 3, 2014. He was a resident of Stonewall and a member of North Keithville Baptist Church. He was a telemarketing supervisor.
He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, Leona Cox; brothers, Pat and Gary Cox.
Pallbearers will be Steve Jurik, Pop Jurik, Ron Coburn, Keith Simmons, Charlie Ritter, Don Wilson and Will Simmons. Honorary pallbearer is David Alexander.
