Mrs. Pettijohn was a member of First United Presbyterian Church, the Presbyterian Flower Mission, and Muncie Matinee Musicale.
Surviving are her son, Robert B. Pettijohn, who is an instructor in the University School of Indiana University at Bloomington, and two nephews, Dr. Byron B. King of San Antonio, Tex., and Edward S. King of New York City. Mr. Pettijohn, longtime executive of the YMCA, died May 9, 1970.
Private services will be held in Meeks Mortuary and interment will follow in Elm Ridge Mausoleum. There will be no calling hours. Memorials may be sent to the Cancer Fund or Camp Crosley Alumni Association.
