Thomas Eugene Perryman, a resident of Okay, passed away Monday, February 3, 2014 at the age of 73. He was born October 29, 1940 to Lewis and Mary (Miller) Perryman in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Eugene graduated from Coweta High School in 1959 and played high school football for the Coweta Tigers. He served in the United States Army as a sharp shooter. He was a lifetime member of the Broken Arrow Indian United Methodist Church and was a member of the Beggs Roundup Club, where he was undefeated for 10 years in the wagon races. Eugene enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Louise Perryman in 1992; parents, Lewis and Mary Perryman; brother, Henry Clay Perryman and steps-son, Lance White. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2014 at the Broken Arrow Indian United Methodist Church with Reverend Anna Stilwell officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Bixby Cemetery under the direction of the Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Military Honors will be conducted by the Muscogee Creek Nation Honor Guard and the Patriot Guard Riders.
